Birthday, baptism, anniversary, communion, confirmation or a weekend with the people who are important to you: I plan private events in Munich, Bavaria and across Europe. As personal as the event itself.
Private events don’t have a fixed schedule that you have to adhere to. That’s what makes them exciting. We can start with a dinner, end with a party, take over a venue for a private weekend, or make something completely different from a familiar home for an evening.
There are fewer rules and therefore more possibilities. A 50th birthday requires a different kind of drama than a baptism. A celebration with 40 guests is something different from a get-together for several hundred people.
That’s why I don’t start with a pre-made format; I start with three questions: Who is celebrating? Who is coming? And how should the day or evening feel? From that, the rest comes.
Round birthday, family anniversary or simply a very good reason to bring all the important people together: I develop the schedule, location, catering, entertainment and design so that the evening has a clear plot without feeling like a program.
From a private dinner to a larger production with several rooms, acts, and a party: The scope can vary. The expectation of planning and hostmanship must not be compromised.
These celebrations are personal, familial, and often more complex than they appear at first glance. Different generations, children, lunch or dinner, program elements, church, transfers, and a place where everyone feels comfortable all have to come together.
I plan the day so that it feels special without being over-staged and without the family having to switch between being the host and organizing things.
Sometimes you don't need a traditional occasion. Perhaps you want to bring friends from different cities together or create a joint weekend at a special location where dinner, excursions, a party, and brunch all blend together.
Especially for multi-day formats, central planning pays off. Arrival, accommodation, transfers, and daily schedules all fit together to create a cohesive overall experience rather than a series of separate program elements.
The location doesn’t just have to be beautiful. It must also be suitable for the activities you plan to carry out. I review the rooms, paths, infrastructure, catering options, the neighborhood, the weather conditions, and the production process. If a location promises more at first glance than it can actually accommodate organizationally, I find solutions.
My network extends beyond Munich and Bavaria to Austria, Switzerland, and to special places throughout Europe.
Depending on the project, I take on the complete planning or clearly defined sub-areas – from concept and location, to service providers, catering, and guest logistics, to on-site management.
In the end, you should not know how many votes were needed for it. You should remember how it felt and who shared that moment with you.
